The Pathfinder Rapid Assessment System (PRAS) is a software system designed to replace paper-and-pen reporting for first responders after a disaster.


After a disaster, it is imperative that information collected in the field be quickly and accurately reported to local authorities. Traditionally, responders rely on paper-and-pen to document operations, which must then be converted into electronic reports by a scribe. This method of data collection is slow, prone to human error, and inefficient.
